WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
In 2005, organised by MOTOCICLISTE.NET
and with the support of the UEM
(European Motorcycling Union), the first European Road Racing
Cup entirely dedicated to women has taken off: the EUROPEAN
WOMEN’S CUP
In 2006 will be organized the second edition
with 4 races. The categories allowed to participate will be
2 (sports bikes and naked); they will compete in the same
races, resulting in two different classifications:
- “600” up to 600cc 4 cylinders / up to 750cc
2 cylinders (twins)
- “1000” over 600cc 4 cylinders / over 750cc 2
cylinders (twins)
In 2007 the UEM EwCup becomes an official
UEM CHAMPIONSHIP: the "European Women's
Championship".
Last season in 2008. In 2009 Uem decides to stop this experience.
